SmokefreeMOM is a mobile text messaging service designed for pregnant women across the United States to help them quit smoking. The program provides encouragement, advice, information, and tips to help stop or cut down on smoking. Users receive up to 6 automated messages per day, based on their smoking status and stage of pregnancy. Additional support is available 24/7 via on-demand text messages. The length of the program is determined by quit date and due date.

-There is no fee for the service, but standard text message and data rates apply. This program is recommended for those who have unlimited texting. If you are unsure whether you have unlimited texting, please contact your mobile carrier before signing up.

How to Apply

Click here to sign up online or access informational resources. You can also sign up by texting the word QUIT to 222888 and answering a few questions, including your due date, quit date, and zip code. You will receive automated messages, and can get messages on demand using keywords.
