Description

Hand to Hold offers support for parents of preemies and parents of children with special health care. Online resources include a Preemie Babies 101 blog, NICU Family Forum, and informational resources. Parents can also receive information and support from a hotline or trained peer volunteer.

Eligibility

-For parents of children who require(d) a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) stay due to premature birth or special health care needs.

How to Apply

Call the Hand to Hold hotline toll-free at 855-H2H-NICU (424-6428), or email support@handtohold.org. Calls will be returned within 48 hours.

You can also request a peer mentor online. A Family Support Navigator will be in touch shortly. There is generally no wait list for peer mentoring.
