PFLAG supports LGBT people, their families and friends through local PFLAG chapter help lines, support group meetings and locally and nationally produced resources. PFLAG promotes the well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support in coping with an adverse society; education, to enlighten the ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity to create a society that respects human diversity.
