The Early Childhood and Kindergarten Readiness program prepares children for early learning and school readiness. Program offerings include:
- Parent Empowerment Program: promotes early learning, brain development and resiliency for young children ages 0-3, by empowering and training parents to become their children’s first teachers. Coordinated support services include individual home visits, group educational workshops, and group parent training sessions. The program is free for all participants.
- Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY): Improves school readiness for at-risk 3- to 5-year-olds in Chicago, and its South Suburbs, by empowering parents with the necessary skills and tools to serve as their child’s primary educator.

How to Apply
Contact the Program Supervisor at the desired location to make a referral.The family will then be contacted by a program staff to begin the enrollment process.
