Description

The Broadway Youth Center offers comprehensive services to LGBTQ youth and young adults. Health services include:

-HIV and STI testing and treatment
-Pregnancy testing
-Birth control and family planning
-Vaccinations
-PrEP
-Gender-affirming hormone therapy
-Flu/cold season care
-Health insurance enrollment assistance

Other services include:

-Referral to housing and shelter, employment assistance, identification needs, and basic needs
-Safe space for homeless LGBTQ youth
-Clothing vouchers
-Laundry
-Food assistance
-Counseling
-GED program
-High school and college tutoring
-College application assistance
-Peer Advocate Project
-Discussion groups

Eligibility

-There is no fee for drop in services.
-Counseling and health services are provided on a sliding scale basis for those without insurance. Howard Brown accepts most Medicaid and private insurance plans. No one will be refused service due to inability to pay.

How to Apply

Health services are provided on a walk in basis only: no appointments are accepted. You must arrive at least one hour prior to clinic closing time. The clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00pm-8:00pm. Please bring your insurance card, if you have one.

Counseling is offered on a drop-in basis Monday from 11:00am-2:00pm, and Thursday and Friday from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Counseling is also available by appointment. Please call 773-935-3151 to schedule an appointment.

Drop in services are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. See the web site for details, or call 773-299-7624 for more information.

Educational and Vocational Services are available by appointment Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00am-3:00pm and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Call 773-299-7601 to schedule an appointment.
