Chicago Commons’ Adult Education and Training Center (ETC) provides adult literacy programming to parents of participants of the Child Development Centers. The ETC helps adult learners overcome barriers to employment through literacy, financial capability, and GED classes. They also offer occasional coaching and assistance with returning to school.
In addition to courses at the Center, Chicago Commons also offers adult services at three partner schools in West Humboldt Park, including pre-ESL courses for parents who are struggling with basic reading concepts, GED preparation, and computer courses.

Call 773-635-2172 to speak with program staff about accessing services. All services are mobile and come to the schools.
